Producer, fabricator, and the person who makes the call on the floor.
For more than twelve years I've produced experiences that put new technology in people's hands: hands-on demos, product launches, booths, custom builds, large-scale events and brand installations for Google, Amazon, Nike, Spotify, Taco Bell and others.
I work with product, engineering, marketing and creative teams to turn concepts into production briefs and build plans, then take them through design development, fabrication and on-site delivery. I work directly with fabricators to learn what's possible within the budget and timeline, and bring agencies, technical specialists and venues together on builds that don't have an off-the-shelf answer.
How I work
Several projects, every detail
I run several projects at once and own them end to end: milestones, scopes, dependencies, deadlines and approvals, tracked in one place, with progress and hurdles shared with the people depending on me.
Budgets I can defend
Scopes, bids, negotiations, contracts and procurement, with rolling cost forecasts from the first design round. I benchmark with second vendors before repricing and have plain conversations with clients about cost risk.
Agency or specialist
Some builds need a full-service agency, others a single specialist. I know which, and I keep a network of trusted fabricators and technical partners, some of them friends to this day.
Different markets, one standard
UK, French and German crews in Cannes, a German fabricator for Cologne, a Munich shop for a Paris tour. Production adapts to each culture, market and event scale; the quality bar doesn't.
Quality, safety & access
ADA-compliant rooms at CES, street-legal vehicle builds, permits for food and beverage service, camera experiences that run on guest consent. The details guests never see are the ones that keep a show open.
Results I can point to
500+ guests a day through Google's CES experience, multi-million-dollar partnerships closed in Spotify's CES space, clients who hired us again. I look at audience response, product engagement and partner feedback, and fold what I learn into the next build.
Reusable tools & standards
Google Sheets control systems for master and sub-budgets, run of show, milestones and contacts; vendor standards adapted to each client's tools; a reusable fixture system at Showfields; one standard parts list across a 12-unit rental fleet.
AI in production
I use AI as a second set of eyes on scopes of work, vendor briefs and project updates before they go out, and to validate estimates against the final reconciliation. Where I'm headed: every item in the production deck carries a code that ties it to vendor budgets and internal tracking, like a personal line producer. I'm building toward it with ChatGPT, Claude Code and n8n.
Hands-on when it helps
When the answer isn't on the shelf, I build it: a Raspberry Pi relay panel switching 120V circuits for custom neon, or a coffee truck with a reprogrammed LED wall, touchscreen ordering and an automated reveal door.
Not too serious
I love a dialed-in crew, and I'll take laughing through a cold week in a Brooklyn body shop over complaining about it. Wins get celebrated.

Also built
Showfields
Fireproofing, a slide cut from the 3rd floor to the 2nd that needed two added I-beams, and data drops for a computer-vision foot-traffic heat map. All solved in the field while the drawings caught up.
Case of Wifi
Co-founded a company renting ruggedized internet kits to events, pop-ups and construction sites. One standard parts list across a 12-unit fleet.
3D concrete printing
Commissioned a COBOD printer with its pump, batch plant and generator. Worked on site for weeks with the manufacturer's engineer, and rebuilt a seized pump in one day with a two-person crew.
Off the clock
I own and renovated a seven-property short-term rental portfolio in upstate New York, working as designer, foreman and project manager. One job meant lifting an 1800s farmhouse six inches to rebuild its stone foundation. When a staircase came back quoted at $85,000, I learned to weld and built it myself.
